12.22.04 - Athenaeum
As for future shows I'll be attending... about 5 years ago I fell in love with a band by the name of Collapsis which featured Mike Garrigan... Through Collapsis I was introduced to another band called Athenaeum, a great melodic rock with interesting lyrics fronted by Mark Kano. Collapsis and Athenaeum both worked closely together, and in fact ended up sort of inbreeding once Collapsis broke up. Mike Garrigan was infused into the Athenaeum lineup and Mike and Mark went on tour together acoustically and played a wide range of songs from both of their gigantic repertoires. Athenaeum's last show ever is the 30th at Ziggy's in Winston Salem. Needless to say, I just bought my tickets.
